This page explains how to delete your Dostly account (app by Dostly LTD) and the data linked to it.
Option 1: in the app
- Open Dostly and go to Me → Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Choose a reason (optional) and confirm.
Your profile is hidden at once and you are signed out.
Option 2: without the app
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account" from the email linked to your account, or include the mobile number you sign in with. We may send a one-time code to that number to confirm it is you.
What is deleted
Within 30 days of your request we delete your profile, photos, posts, reels, stories, chat messages and media, followers and following lists, verification selfies, location, device and push-notification identifiers, and your coin balance.
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase, payout and tax records: as long as Indian law requires (usually up to 8 years).
- Records needed for an open report, refund, dispute or legal claim: until it is closed.
- Records of serious rule breaks (for example fraud or child-safety violations): kept to stop the person from returning and to cooperate with authorities.
- Moderation snapshots: deleted within 30 days of capture.
- Messages you sent to other people may still appear in their chats in anonymised form ("Deleted user").
Unused coins and unpaid earnings below the payout minimum are lost when the account is deleted. If you have pending earnings, request a payout first.
Delete only some data
You can delete individual posts, reels, stories, messages and photos in the app at any time. To ask us to delete other specific data without closing your account, email [email protected].
