Dostly (Android package com.dostlyapp.videochatapp), operated by Dostly LTD, is an adults-only (18+) service. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), as required by Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.
Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
We strictly prohibit, and have zero tolerance for, child sexual abuse and exploitation and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, anywhere on the Service. This includes:
- Any image, video, live stream, audio, text or link that sexualises, depicts, encourages or facilitates the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor (anyone under 18).
- Grooming, sextortion, soliciting a minor, or any attempt to make sexual contact with a minor.
- Producing, requesting, sharing, trading or advertising CSAM.
- Trafficking or any commercial sexual exploitation of a minor.
Accounts involved are permanently banned, their content is removed and preserved as evidence, and they are reported to the authorities.
Adults only
- Dostly is only for people aged 18 and over. Every user must confirm they are 18 or older at sign-up and accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Hosts and creators may be asked to complete selfie verification before they can go live or earn.
- If we learn or suspect that a user is under 18, we close the account and delete its data (except what we must keep to report and cooperate with authorities).
How we prevent and detect abuse
- In-app reporting on every profile, chat, call, live room, post and comment.
- A trained moderation team reviews reports; CSAE reports are handled first.
- Periodic safety snapshots of 1:1 video calls and live rooms, reviewed by moderators.
- Blocking and muting tools for every user, and steps to stop banned users from creating new accounts.
How to report
- In the app: open the person's profile, the chat, the call or the live room, tap Report, and choose "Underage user" (or "User appears underage").
- By email: [email protected] or [email protected] (please include the username or profile link, date and a short description; do not attach or forward illegal images).
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact local police first (in India dial 112; you can also report at cybercrime.gov.in or call the cyber-crime helpline 1930).
Compliance with law and cooperation with authorities
We comply with all applicable child safety laws, including India's Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. When we find or are told about apparent CSAM we remove it, preserve the evidence, and report it to the relevant authorities — including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Indian law enforcement — and we respond to valid legal requests from law enforcement.
